As the temperature rises in Basel and across Europe, the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 kicks off with the semifinals. š¤šøš¹šŖš„š·

But as Finns, sorry but we canāt help being a little friendly biased,Ā we at Hetki are especially cheering for our own:
First, Erika Vikman representing Finland š«š® with Ich komme, and
Second, KAJ, a Finnish band representing Sweden šøšŖ with their sauna anthem Bara Bada Bastu*.
Both songs are predicted to rank high. š

*The song title Bara Bada BastuĀ roughly translates to Just Have SaunaĀ or Letās Have Sauna. Did you know that Finland is a bilingual country? In addition to Finnish, Swedish is the other official language, spoken by around 5% of the population. In Swedish, the word for sauna is bastu.
